Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
I really don’t know how I feel about this aspect of Revengeance. I mean, I like that we get to see him with a post 4-looking face and all, but idk if I want to see him getting destroyed and shit. :/
(unless that’s not a giant rip and is just one of the solid eyes coming down over it. Which would be acceptable.)
The more I see of this game, the more I want to punch it. HONESTLY. These cutscenes look WAY better than the actual gameplay, and that’s something I’ve always liked about the metal gear games is that their cutscenes use the in game models so there’s no break in value. And yet when I saw actual game play footage, I couldn’t tell if they were using dumbed down versions of the cutscene models, or if it was something with the camera work that was making them look SO SHITTY. THAT IN GAME CAMERA, GAH! you make me want to murder things. It’s just too far away from the character at most times, and not flattering. And the camera work kind of gives me a clue as to how the game mechanic is going to work because it’s a very, god of war, DMC, kind of camera, meaning lots of spawns and lots of just mindless hacks and slashes. THAT ISN’T WHAT I WANT. HONESTLY. And if the game ISN’T that kind of GOW clone, then the camera work does not lend itself well to what I saw. I really hope I have to eat my words. I really hope this game is good. But honestly, all of it…. all I’ve seen so far…. it’s just… shit.
